Choosing Your Room
Practicing hot yoga at your own home provides you the opportunity to work out in a comfortable and private environment. When you plan the layout of your at-home hot yoga session, you should think about how to set up a space that will encourage your yoga flow. Find a room or a quiet place that you can turn into a studio and adapt to foster a sense of relaxation and serenity while designating a place to practice hot yoga.
Try painting the walls with a soothing color and enhancing the area with a few paintings, a plant, a small waterfall, candles, meditation pillows, etc. You can also choose a focal point in the space to which you can focus your vision or direct your yogic gaze.
Setting Up Windows and Blinds

Decluttering The Space
You need to declutter your designated space as much as possible. It’s better to adapt to minimalism. Turning Up the Humidity
Your room will feel hot with all the heating, but it will also dry up the air a little. Use a humidifier to add a little moisture. Using a humidifier will help turn the air in your hot yoga studio a little less dry, but this isn’t quite precision heating. It’s unlikely that anyone can replicate the accurate humidity and heating for the hot yoga studio they will be setting up at home. It’s best to put your humidifier in the room’s corner and turn it on simultaneously with the heater, as a combination of heat and humidity is what makes a hot yoga studio feel so sauna-like and dreamy.
You can try putting a few ice cubes in a glass and placing the glass in the room as a low-tech approach to measure the humidity level there. Check to see if the glass has any condensation forming on the outside after a few minutes have passed. If not, you might want to consider putting some moisture in the air.
